You may remember that I had the opportunity to speak in over 50 different Nintendo worlds this past June, and I mean every single one of you here at E3 were talking about the upcoming Switch. We talked about the potential release date, involvement among its players and sharing some great thoughts on the game’s current state. Honestly, I pretty much gave a thumbs up.

Here’s the talk I give you on the game. It’s trying to be a 480p game for the Switch. It’s not a 1080p game, it’s just something we’re interested in. It’s a long game and will be very much evolving like a full fledged Final Fantasy game. It’s not a game that’s playing absolutely all day, or it’s not a roller coaster anymore. Unlike a game like Final Fantasy XIV, where your main character is a mage, you’re actually a utility-class mage.

In fact, the whole story of the game is based on the game’s main character, who’s the only game protagonist, and the developer has plans to make powerful characters that will allow her to be a mage. She’s a mage, that’s what she’s been waiting for. It’s not some flashy 3D thing you can create in the last few hours, just a progression in command of her abilities. I know that’s not well received at E3, but you’d think that all the consoles would do that, right?

But, that’s not the case. I want to share some of the exciting details of the game. I want to tell you about the story. I want you to come back here for it. It’s a game that revolutionized the idea of how RPGs are made and is more than just a game. I want you to play it.

You know, there’s no way I could ever play on a standard Nintendo Switch. I can never have a console in my room, although I could play it blind in order to play on a PlayStation 3. I won’t touch it, but I will back up all my files on the console and my wife and kids. I will share my story with you all, and I will be there for you as well.

So, when we talk about this game, we’re talking about the types of games that Nintendo keeps adding to their games. There are almost every thing that gamers do. There are some that play classic games, like Street Fighter Legends and Super Metroid. There are some that do not. Something that I hate about the Switch and how I feel about this is the Switch getting more powerful. I like to say this, but do you agree with me that people should have access to the best games in the industry? Is there a reason why it’s getting so much power in every platform that it’s getting so much power on the Switch?
