Microsoft veteran Bob Muglia: Relational knowledge graphs will transform business

Mr Muglia has been at the forefront of the development of graphical user interfaces and was among the first to work on the first hardware-side-caller OS.

Today he has a new project that is focused on helping developers benefit from the benefits of using virtual machines in games, this could be a opened source limited edition for Linux, in which developers could access features for free, or open source for free, for their games. He has created game titles such as White Wolf and Battlefield 1 that use a proprietary XInput Accelerator that uses the kinetic signal of an egg while in action.

“The development of graphical user interfaces and applications around virtual machines, along with their development of application code, is a long, long-standing and longstanding interest,” Mr Muglia said. “As such, I believe that programs such as Just Cause 3 or Phoenix: Project Eternity, which use a proprietary XInput Accelerator, could give developers some back again.”

He has also developed programs that use an embedded GPU (or HPC) to perform digital graphics with virtual machines and developed software for both Microsoft and Apple to support virtual machines.

“The big challenge for me in making anything commercial about virtual machines is making it available to the general public,” he said. “I am not saying that it will be cheap, like Siemens, Aimable, Microsoft, or anyone else, but the fact is that the hardware market is huge and when we have those, we can be competitive.

“I think that’s where VR and gaming is going to be concerned. For me, it’s about making sure virtual machines are well-suited to using the internet, talking to people, and that everyone has access to information really fast.”

He added: “I think that the historical value in those first VR games started with the Oculus Rift, where developers got the first code for a really simple system called ‘intellisense.’ This is a 3D game where you go around your map with a camera and your head remains on the ground while you walk. That’s really nice and interesting and is just going to enliven the world of video games.”

Mr Muglia said he expects that with a big collection of VR games, gamers will be able to play them with a headset and any other device that can provide a constant stream of frames of data.

One of his most recent projects is “Foxtrot,” which uses a modified version of the Oculus Rift to capture video of a spectacular sea around Turf War, the Serpentine Sea which has featured huge battles and other impressive objects of red and black.

Foxtrot will be released on PC on January 28, 2017, and then on Steam on the 29th of the month of March, with the first of its ever game coming on April 1, 2017.
