Chick-fil-A finally finds a way to make money on Sundays

The show’s creator and Ted’s father, Mike Patton, stars in the series. It will knock off a number of series, from “The Greatest Show on Earth to Love Live” to “Bad News Bears.”

It’s an interesting move because when you’re dealing with a major studio and bring in the $1 billion, even smaller budgets.

“I’m not saying it’s a bad thing,” Patton said. “I don’t think it’s. It would be great if it would be a little bit different. But I think it’s really true that you have to be in the business to make that money. The business is really good at that. I think that’s why so many shows make money on Sundays.”

That’s certainly true for Patton.

“I want to go out and have fun, and I want to do it right,” he said. “I don’t know what people think.”

In the end, he said, “I’m not going to hang out with my biological dad all the time, because I’m not going to make money on Sundays.”

Patton never, ever wanted to be a sitcom star, he said.

This isn’t his first foray into comedy: His first series, “Back in the Game,” was canceled in 2011 after its first season concluded.

Patton is also calling it quits after his first season, which is all but done. He’s in the news for an incident where a fan filming his hit song “Répond” was caught spitting on her.

The series was taped soon after the show wrapped.

The show will have a new creator and the first two episodes will air on Monday nights at 8 p.m. on FOX.
