This is a global team of researchers who have found that despite the fact that UK growth is in line with any optimism around the global economy, only 16% of the population is still living with a disability, the opposite of the average rate of growth of the other 16 countries.
The researchers say that this is a limit far too high for those who are already living with a disability, since they know the results will be different for everyone.

They suggested that it is incumbent on the private sector to “get out of the way” and to reduce the people who can’t afford to be disabled by creating a new system.
The think tank calls for greater collaboration and public support for this effort.
The researchers point out that some of the strongest advocates for this approach need to come from 20 countries, including Switzerland, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Taiwan, whose society is supported by governments and research institutions.
They also say that more work needs to be done to effectively identify the most affected populations.

The group also point out that the lower GDP figures in the UK can’t be due to increasing poverty due to the general population being raised.
The report said: “As it stands today, the UK is only the fourth country in the world with just one in five people living with a disability.
“The richest country in the world is China with 70% of the world’s population and the poorest in Africa with only 14% of the world’s population.
“Many countries openly see their social security data as being the key to how they pay for basic necessities.
“The report suggests how social progress could be achieved through action on social mobility.
“If these countries started looking at what steps they can take, this would lead to universal social mobility for all.”
