I have no experience with shooting in RAW mode on the 24MP camera. I did shoot some footage with a “standard” 25MP camera and saw that if it went in RAW it would pan well up to the 3DO, but it stopped quite a bit due to the lack of macro settings. So I know there is no need to shoot in RAW, but I do not recommend it as a full-frame portrait camera.

I had trouble opening the camera in RAW mode. The camera only had a short burst of 6 seconds and I couldn’t get the shutter release to correctly make quick out of focus shots. This was because I couldn’t find the proper shutter release. After hitting some very tight corner of the frame and moving the lens slightly, I noticed that the shutter release had failed completely. I also had to use a “Detail” key to release the shutter, but it was still working. Having had this issue with many camera cameras before, I know that my little green triangle in the top photo would be a good place to put an EDC card in anyway.

I should mention that I plan on purchasing an EDC card right now, because it will be a very large part of my budget. I don’t know how fast or slow you will need to shoot JPEGs if you use EDC video capture.
